Amazing Taste, originally conceived by founder Liz Ngonzi as a catering and events company in 2001, has 2004 evolved into a boutique consulting firm that connects nonprofit organizations and social enterprises to funders, targeted networks and the media to jointly achieve their strategic objectives through events, multimedia campaigns and educational activities.
Organizations with which Amazing Taste has worked include those in the US and Africa focused on gender rights, health, youth development, along with educational institutions.

Cornell Hospitality Icon & Innovator Awards
Amazing Taste has for the last three years served as the Marketing and Event Strategy firm for the prestigious annual Cornell Hospitality Icon & Innovator Awards. During that period, we have assisted our client in increasing attendees, sponsors and improving the profile of the event that honors outstanding leaders in the hospitality industry and generates much-needed funds for scholarships.

AMREF Stand Up for African Mothers Global Campaign US Launch
Amazing Taste was engaged in May 2012 by the African Medical & Research Foundation (AMREF) to introduce leaders of the African Diaspora community in the US to its work, as a means to launch its global Stand Up for African Mothers campaign to this valuable, yet untapped community.
AMREF is the premier, African-led, health development organization on the continent. Over the last 55 years, AMREF has trained more than 500,000 health workers and developed programs targeting the most critical health issues facing African communities.
Patrons of the campaign include Dr. Graça Machel-Mandela (wife of former South African President Nelson Mandela); Salma Kikwete, First Lady of Tanzania; and Janet Museveni, First Lady of Uganda.
