Ms. Ngonzi is an exceptional faculty member at the George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising at New York University.  I hired Liz ten years ago when she approached the Heyman Center with a proposal to develop an online fundraising and marketing course for nonprofit leaders…Liz has a broad-base of experience that includes, most recently serving as the turn-around CEO of the North America arm of the Nelson Mandela-endorsed and multi-award-winning South African nonprofit, Afrika Tikkun between 2014 and 2018.  Additionally, she is a sought-after international speaker, trainer and consultant, who has trained hundreds of nonprofits in Africa, Europe and the US, consulted to several of them on fundraising and marketing, and is widely quoted in the media on philanthropy and fundraising, worldwide…I rarely write references of this kind, but because Elizabeth Ngonzi is so exceptional, I have no hesitation in recommending her to your institution.~ Naomi Levine, Former SVP, New York University / Founder and Former Executive Director, NYU Heyman Center for Philanthropy & Fundraising

When you work with Liz, you are working with much more than a consultant; you are working with a champion. In addition to her wealth of expertise, Liz is constantly working to help promote your brand and raise awareness for your organization. Her passion for her work translates into the service she provides. For example, Liz's insight helped my team secure a $10,000 grant to further the impact of our nonprofit, Practice Makes Perfect, Inc. I highly recommend her work and truly believe her suggestions are an immense value-add. ~ Karim Abouelnaga, Founder / CEO, Practice Makes Perfect

During the recent ISOBRO NGO Association Fundraising Conference in Denmark, I hosted a Masterclass in “Accessing US Foundations By Combining Human and Digital Strategies” with Liz Ngonzi and Eelco Keij. Through strong interaction with the participants and a solid ability to make a complicated topic accessible, they conveyed their in-depth insight into, and knowledge of, the fundraising area. ~ Henrik Julin, Partner, Topleder Netvaerk Dk (Denmark)

Liz's coaching had a profound impact on me, and I hope that I helped to amplify Liz's advice and increase her impact.
As a coach, Liz has become one of the most important people in my ongoing journey toward fulfilling my career goals in the hospitality industry. I’d recommend having her speak to any group, and I know that what she has to share will spark an "off the bench" moment for many of her listeners.  ~ Jeremiah Swain, Cornell University School of Hotel Administration Master of Management in Hospitality Student

Liz is a social entrepreneur who has a real understanding of how philanthropy and business can intersect to make a difference in the world. Having partnered with and attended her company Amazing Taste's events, I have witnessed how flawlessly she and her team conceptualize, plan and produce events to make that possible.  I highly recommend her!!! ~ Robin Daas, Chief Cause Officer of Causology

Elizabeth is a cross-disciplinary thinker, with a fearless imagination, and a dedication to her clients. She has been able to get a deep understanding of the complexity of our multiple programs and create an integrated approach to pursuing opportunities for growth. ~ Chris Elam, Founder of Misnomer

Elizabeth is a great person to work with. We met and instantly clicked on many levels. She is bright, intelligent, and very professional and can take on many projects at one time. She helped my business associate and I catapult our business to the next level and be exposed to the right people. Thank you, Elizabeth!!! ~ Daniel Schneider, Co-Founder, Special E, LLC

Liz has an amazing ability to decode the world of digital marketing and strategy, even for people like me who didn't grow up in that world. Her class vastly increased my knowledge of digital media and how to effectively employ it-skills that can be immediately put to use for every nonprofit I am involved with. She is a great educator and thought leader. ~ Marie Konstance, Project Manager, Gender Equity and Inclusion Standards (GEIS) for Catalyst

Elizabeth Ngonzi was my first professor at NYU SPS, and I could not be more thankful that such was the case. Liz structures her course, so lessons and homework are practical and applicable to student needs in real time. Our class was comprised of current in-house employees, freelance consultants (such as myself) and individuals in transition / looking for new opportunities. Liz was able to seamlessly address all circumstances and apply instruction so that any situation could benefit from each lesson.

Personally, I was able to leverage class learnings and apply them to concurrent consulting work. Liz gave me the tools, terminology and concepts I needed to apply to a current gig, which resulted in winning subsequent business for my consultancy.

Liz’s industry acumen, helpful disposition and generous accessibility is without limits. I am grateful to for her as an educational professor and network contact that will undoubtedly inspire future opportunities for me and for others. ~ Stephanie Gerard, Founder and Executive Director, Stephanie Gerard Consultancy

Interning for Ms. Ngonzi was unlike any other opportunity I have had previously. She is not only devoted to her trade, but also to helping people succeed in every aspect of life. Working at Amazing Taste helped me build marketable skills such as researching and designing various brochures; in addition, it helped me develop more fundamental skills such as creating interpersonal relationships. The few weeks I spent with Ms. Ngonzi was not only fun but a priceless opportunity. ~ Katie Chan, Sales Operations Manager at Okta, Inc.

I’ve attended presentations by Liz Ngonzi and I was a student in her course in Digital Fundraising and Social Media at NYU’s School for Professional Studies. Her communication and instructional skills are superlative. Liz’s NYU curriculum was designed and structured perfectly for nonprofit staffers, and her Digital Strategy assignments were clear, relevant, and due on a manageable timeline. Our class enjoyed a collegiality driven by Liz’s energy and enthusiasm combined with her knowledge of and experience in philanthropy and social media. Liz and her guest speakers generously shared their expertise, and Liz took time outside the classroom to lead and contribute to our course-related social media posts. As a librarian, educator, and lifelong learner, I highly recommend Liz Ngonzi as a professor, panelist, or presenter. She will enhance your understanding of Digital Fundraising and help you learn how to more effectively tell your nonprofit’s story. ~ Valerie Bove, Faculty Member, St. John’s Prep

Liz has been a great Entrepreneur in Residence here at the Hotel School. She not only has made herself available on a number of promised occasions to the students, but has often worked around their schedules, meeting outside of her planned office hours. Since Liz is based out of New York/New Jersey and cannot always meet in person on campus, she does a wonderful job of connecting with the students over Skype and via conference call. She has not only been one of the most sought after E-in-Rs that I’ve dealt with, but is always kind, genuine, and willing to lend advice whenever asked. I look forward to working with her more in the future! ~ Shannae Murray (at the time she was at Cornell University as an Administrative Assistant with The Centers & Institutes at The School of Hotel Administration)

I met Liz Ngonzi shortly after being accepted into the President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW). I was immediately struck by Liz’s warmth, energy, and competence, and so I was thrilled and honored when she asked me to serve as one of her co-Vice Chairs on the PCCW Communications Committee. Under Liz’s leadership, our small team has already made enormous strides towards achieving her visionary agenda of using communications to re-energize and re-connect PCCW’s far flung group of high powered Cornell alumnae. Not only does Liz possess a seemingly endless reserve of innovative ideas and an impressive depth of knowledge about communications (including and especially the latest in social media strategies); she also rolls up her sleeves and does the work – and so her hugely ambitious goals actually get accomplished! I highly recommend Liz, and I am excited to work more with her in the future! ~ Tara Murphy, (former Founding Administrative Director, Kraft Center for Community Health Leadership)
